MDSC will utilize REDCap for Data Management

MDSC has decided that it will utilize the REDCap application (Research Electronic Data Capture) for organizing pre-hospital and in-hospital data.

REDCap is a secure, web-based application for building and managing online surveys and databases. The software was built by Vanderbilt University through support from the National Institute of Health to allow for data capture for research studies.

The REDCap application allows users to build and manage online surveys and databases quickly and securely, and is currently in production use or development build-status for more than 103,000 projects with over 135,000 users spanning numerous research focus areas across the consortium.
